With Habitat’s type of projects that involve bringing in volunteers and prospective homeowners to work at the build site, it means that there are a variety of people, skilled and unskilled, at the site all the time. Volunteers also assist us in the recruitment of the trade professionals as well.
What this means is that a level of patience is needed from our trade professionals at the start of the job, during the job, and even after the job is completed. One recent installation of a complex system required Jim to come out after the homeowners had moved in, to explain again how the system worked, what to do in certain scenarios, and he handled it very well, with tact and diplomacy, and most importantly, with excellent product knowledge passed on to the homeowner.
What we like the most about this company is being able to call them and speak frankly, and get an honest answer, a fair price, and excellent product. They have never let us down.
